We have an unexpired term for the Banks County State Representative to the Democratic Party of Georgia. This is an opportunity to be involved on the state level with adopting party policy, developing the legislative platform, electing state party representatives and overall being a part of the conducting of general DPG business. You do not need to be a member of the Banks County Democratic Committee to be a State Representative. The DPG meets about 4 times a year at various locations around the state.
The Banks County Democrats will hold an election at our next meeting, Thursday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m., Homer City Hall.
